Please Read Our Withdrawal & Refund Policy Before Applying

NOTE: Undergraduate students wishing to withdraw from the program must immediately submit the Georgia Tech-Europe Withdrawal Form. 

$500 Non-Refundable Deposit

The $500 deposit submitted at the time of application is non-refundable after the student has received an email notification from Georgia Tech-Europe stating that they are accepted into the program.

Transient students (i.e., degree-seeking students from U.S. universities other than Georgia Tech) should be aware that the $35 application fee to Georgia Tech is also non-refundable.

Program Charge Refunds

Students who withdraw (for any reason) after the dates listed below will be refunded based on *recoverable expenses at the time of withdrawal. Undergraduate students wishing to withdraw from the program must immediately submit the Georgia Tech-Europe Withdrawal Form.

Program charge amounts can be found on the Costs page for your semester.

In the event Georgia Tech-Europe cancels a program, we will make every effort to refund the full amount of the program charge. Refunds for tuition & fees follow the standard Georgia Tech schedule and policy. 

*Recoverable expenses are fees that Georgia Tech-Europe is able to have refunded by our service providers and returned to the students. Georgia Tech cannot reimburse personal expenses incurred, such as airfare and other items not included in the program charge.

Refunds are processed through students' Bursar accounts.

Exceptions 

• The $500 deposit can be transferred to a future semester at Georgia Tech-Europe (within one year).
• It is not possible to transfer the deposit to another study abroad program.
• If you are not accepted into the program, or your acceptance is revoked due to academic or disciplinary issues, your deposit will be refunded.
• Program charge fees that are non-recoverable can apply to a future semester at Georgia Tech-Europe (within one year).
