" I have chosen to study a Georgia Tech for two main reasons: strengthen my technical skills within a top ranked university and have an international experience. Moreover, with its special parternship, Georgia Tech is affordable, which is not always the case for  others univerties of the same rank. At Georgia Tech I was able to fully experienced a multicultural environment. The campus is full  of students from various countries in the world. It was very  interesting to discuss with these people and to get to know their  cultures better, especially the American one.

My experience at GTL was a great one. As a fresh graduate from Romania I had a once in a lifetime chance to study towards a very valuable degree that it's recognized and accepted throughout the world.
I had great professors and great coursework that have provided me with advanced knowledge and expertise in the field of Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communications.

My Business School in Grenoble [Grenoble Ecole de Management, www.grenoble-em.com] gives the opportunity to its students to carry out their 3rd year abroad. After passing the exams and with a good ranking, I succeeded to choose and register for a MSM degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, GA). One of the main reasons I selected the GTech was to acquire knowledge and skills in technology, complementary to my management education.

"Whether it was Georgia Tech's academic reputation or the score of the latest football game, growing up in the south I had always known Georgia Tech. I knew at a young age that if I could be accepted, I would go there. Being located in the center of Atlanta also made Georgia Tech irresistible to me. I wanted to stay close to home, but live away at the same time. This made for the perfect choice.

I chose GTL summer program because my brother did it 6 years ago and he recommended it. I also liked the fact that it was the only (or one of the only) GT study abroad program that had an actual campus, own facilities, and GT professors overseas. I also wanted to travel to many different countries and experience many different cultures and history. Some of the other programs were either expensive to travel to other countries (Oxford) or not many different cultures all together (Latin America or Asia Pacific).

I choosed Georgia Tech for 3 main reasons: the reputation of GT (top 5 in engineering schools in the USA), then, to improve my english skills and finally for the multi-cultural and international aspect. Up to now, I do not regret my choice at all, GTL being now my second family !

I recently joined Cube Infrastructure in Luxembourg as an analyst. Cube is a private equity fund which is specialized in infrastructures and public services companies. The fund has participations in renewable energies (hydro, wind, solar), transport, and communication infrastructures. After my Master degree from both the ENSAM and Georgia Tech, I decided to specialize in finance and joined the Specialized Master in International Finance at HEC Paris.

"GTL was a good opportunity to study in a top ranked US School without having to spend a huge amount of money. Moreover going to Atlanta during only one semester is really nice when you are in a relationship. A lot of wonderful memories…Thanks to GTL I have been able to learn how to work with people from all around the world. It is really useful because even if you work in France, you always work with a lot of different nationalities."

The Double Degree program offered by Georgia Tech & Supelec has undoubtably been a key factor in my path.
For my graduation internship, I decided to do a 6-month internship as an analyst in marketing and technological strategy at FTNA (France Telecom North America) in New York.
